HEALTH REQUIREMENT

A. Yellow Fever
Visitors must be vaccinated against yellow fever no less than 10 days prior to travel to Zanzibar Island (Tanzania) and Kenya and need to provide a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate at the point of entry. If you cannot have a yellow fever injection for medical reasons, you will need to provide a doctor's letter stating these reasons. Other African countries such as Botswana and South Africa, will also deny re-entry after having visited a country with Yellow Fever without the vaccination.

B. Malaria
Most African countries are malaria area and malaria prophylactics are highly recommended. Please consult your medical practitioner prior to travel. The use of additional precautionary measures, such as insect repellents and long-sleeved clothing, long trousers and socks when outside at night, is recommended.  Anti-Malaria Pills can be obtained from:

C. Ebola Risk
Kenya is located in East Africa and there have been no reported cases of Ebola. East Africa and Southern Africa remain safe travel destinations as they are situated thousands of miles from the affected areas. The Ebola outbreak in 2014 is contained in West Africa, affecting only Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
None of the countries on our itineraries have been affected by the disease, and we continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis to ensure the health and safety of all our guests
