Depart Hong Kong in the evening with Qatar Airways to Kigali (via Doha).

Arriving Kigali International Airport in the morning, greeted by our representative and a enjoy a half day tour: Drive through the old city of Kigali, tour a local market, taste Rwandan coffee and a visit to the evocative Genocide Memorial Centre gives a haunting insight into the dark past from which Rwanda has risen to become one of the cleanest, safest African countries.

Return to hotel for dinner in the evening. 

After breakfast enjoy a 3 hours road transfer to Volcanoes National Park. The area welcomes you with dramatic view of the peaks of the Volcanoes Bisoke, Kaisimbi and Mikeno rearing up through the Afro-alpine forests of nearby Volcanoes National Park.

Enjoyable lunch at camp and guided visit to local community including the farmers who cultivate and sell their vegetables to camp.

After an early breakfast you will be driven to Volcanoes National Park Head Quarters for the start of your gorilla tracking experience . After a gentle climb of between one and three hours, you will spend one hour in the company of these gentle apes before returning to base in time for a late lunch. Some gorilla families can be more elusive, and tracking can take a full day, especially if it is wet and muddy.

Today you will go to forest and track the beautiful colored Golden Monkey, which is endemic to this area and lives in group of up to 30 individuals in park's bamboo forest. Return to camp in the late afternoon for leisure and mouth-watering dinner.

After an early breakfast you will be taken to Nyungwe National park, which is approximately 5 hours drive. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant then head to One & Only Nyungwe House where you will stay for an overnight.

Enjoy a canopy walk in forest during the afternoon.

After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your lodge and taken on a Chimpanzee Tracking Experience.

Home to one of East Africa’s last intact chimpanzee populations, Nyungwe is an ideal place early morning to observe chimps in their natural habitat. Most active in the morning, an early rise is required for maximum viewing opportunity, allow our experienced, expert trackers to guide you on a deep forest trail, learning about these fascinating creatures and the enchanting forest they call home.

After breakfast, you will be collected and transferred to Kigali International Airport, connecting to your departure flight in the eveningwith Qatar Airways to Hong Kong (via Doha).
